Dr. Purgatory is a chamber jazz group in Toronto and the musical alter ego of Toronto guitarist and composer David Riddel. Their first album, Crab Parts was released in 2019.

The group's 2nd EP, The Consumption (A Tragic Folktale in Six Parts) will be released on March 21, 2025, and features  Noam Lemish, Andrew Downing, Colleen Allen, Conrad Gluch and Stefan Hegerat.
